Waukee Area Historical Society Brings Community Together with “Retro Game Nights”

The Waukee Area Historical Society has you covered with its ongoing Retro Game Nights, a series of monthly Wednesday night events designed to bring people together through classic games, friendly competition, and a whole lot of laughter.

Hosted throughout the year, Retro Game Nights have quickly become a favorite local tradition. Each event offers a fresh twist on familiar favorites, creating a welcoming space for friends, families, and neighbors to connect.

A Look Back: Fan-Favorite Game Nights

The series has already seen some standout hits. Bingo Night brought out players ready to test their luck and win prizes, while Waukee Celebrity Squares added a hilarious, local spin on a classic game show format, featuring familiar faces from around the community.

  • $25 Pyramid – Just like $25,000 Pyramid. Test your quick thinking and teamwork in this fast-paced, clue-based game
    Date: June 10, 2026 
  • Trivia Night – Put your knowledge to the test across a variety of topics
    Date: July 1 and July 29, 2026
